Many companies use sustainability to gain a competitive advantage. This way, they open up new markets and respond to the demands from citizens and politics. This has resulted in an increasing demand for specialists and managers who can leave the well-trodden paths behind and bring fresh perspectives and solutions. In the Master’s programme »Sustainable Business Management«, students learn to develop ideas which put sustainability at the heart of business practice.

Programme structure

Following a Bachelor’s degree in a subject related to economics, students discover how they can manage, supervise and consult companies toward a sustainability-oriented business model. Students from all over Germany come together to learn in modern, well-equipped premises and from experienced, well-connected teaching staff. Over the course of the two-year study programme, students have the opportunity to focus on the areas that interest them most as well as improving their foreign language skills. The knowledge gained is then consolidated practically in the project-based internship as well as in other case studies and projects.
